5ozdark or semi-sweet chocolate broken into small pieces
4-5tablespoonsheavy cream
1tablespoonlight corn syrup
1tablespoonunsalted butter

Instructions
Place the broken chocolate into a microwave-safe bowl, and partially melt in the microwave on medium, stirring every 30 seconds.
Once the chocolate is half melted, add the cream, syrup, butter and adult libation of your choice. Heat in the microwave on medium, stirring every 30 seconds.
Remove from the microwave and stir together well until the butter has completely melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy. Serve immediately with the strawberries, cookies, and whipped cream.
Notes
You can make this boozy sauce up to 2 days ahead, then cover and store in the fridge. Before serving, warm up in the microwave and stir every 30 seconds or until you have a nice dipping consistency. If you don't want the alcohol, just leave it out. Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a pinch of cayenne instead.
